THE ONE WORD THAT SELLS ANYTHING

I’ve been listening to the sweet sound of my kids arguing for the last 15 minutes - even my Bose noise-cancelling headphones can’t drown them out.

They are debating the merits of each others Christmas artwork - dangerous territory.

Here’s a pic of said artwork which Mr. Ten claims is most definitely a bird and, did not start out as a willy! (Ahh the joy of tweenage boys!)

There’s one word I’m hearing them say to each other with righteous indignation, and it’s playing on repeat like a broken record (what’s a record Mum? Oh, how they’ve missed out!)

And even though this tittle-tattle between them is driving me to Gin before 11 am, they are actually using the most important word you can use in your copy to sell ANYTHING!

THIS ONE WORD CAN:

  • Unlock the secret to selling more

  • Makeover a boring message

  • Be used in emails, social, sales pages and more!

And this magic word is…..

So!

Using this word when you’re talking about your offer, service or product does a neat job of bridging the gap between the WHAT and the BENEFIT of what you have to offer. And we all know that people buy the transformative benefits not the actual ‘thing’ you are selling.

To use the “So” principle, just whack it on to the end of one of your sentences describing what you offer and see the magic in action.

Here’s some examples:
